Dr. Sandra Deniz was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated with a major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a minor in Anthropology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Puerto Rico where she finished her MD degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was accepted to the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine Department of Surgery where she did her General Surgery Residency for five years. She is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

She has practiced general surgery in various places; these have been Long Island, NY, Sulphur Springs, TX and Hazleton, PA. In Pennsylvania, most of the practice was dedicated to breast care. Feeling the need to increase her knowledge in this area to better treat her patients, she spent a year at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences doing a Disease of the Breast Surgical Fellowship.

Dr. Deniz has gladly joined her husband’s practice in Kissimmee, Fl, at Soleil Surgical LLC. Here she treats diseases of the breast, benign and malignant. With her husband, she heads Soleil Med Spa where laser based aesthetic treatments and other procedures are performed.
